Around Manaslu: geological field trip in Great Himalaya
The paper briefy describes the geological structure of the High Himalaya in traditional trekking route around the town of Manaslu. The route crosses the sequence of highly metamorphosed rocks formed during collision of the Indian and Tibetan plates.
